Learn more about the City of Richmond Crisis Response Services at RBHA.

RBHA’s Crisis Intervention provides 24-hour emergency services, information, referral, and triage for outpatient services for individuals in the City of Richmond. Crisis clinicians will be available to discuss and respond to service needs.

Individuals seeking services from outside the City of Richmond will be linked to the Crisis Intervention program or to the Community Services Board serving the locality where they reside.

Individuals looking for non-emergency services should use the intake/admissions process for assessment and scheduling. 

Persons already receiving services at RBHA may contact Crisis Intervention around-the-clock for assistance in support of WRAP Plans and Treatment Plans when the agency is closed or when they are not able to reach their RBHA service providers. Qualified mental health professionals are on-duty 24/7 by telephone and by mobile outreach to assist persons seeking access to services for treatment of mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual disabilities.

Crisis intervention staff additionally provide consultation, information, and referral to behavioral healthcare partners in the City of Richmond.
