Circe Black: I became a Social Worker to...

Mar 22, 2022

I became a social worker when I realized the people I wanted to empower may not have resources or access if I chose another profession. I believe in serving, a lesson I learned by observing my most influential family members. Everyone needs help at different times in their life and I wanted to assist others by being a part of their solution. Although I am no longer providing direct care, I support the vital services we provide to our community and to our staff, which I truly enjoy. Social work is a vast landscape of opportunity, I’m grateful to be part of the profession.
