I became a social worker because I wanted to help others achieve their best quality of life. I began my career as a CNA at the age of 17 and wanted to do more to help the Geriatric population. After working in a nursing home, I questioned the Director of Social Work about her credentials and job tasks. It was then that I knew that the profession of Social Work was for me. I am currently in school to matriculate with my Master’s of Social Work with the ambition to become a Clinician within the next 2 years.
