All RBHA’s position requires background investigation, which may include reference checks, criminal history record check and/or Division of Motor Vehicle driving record check. Virginia’s barrier crime laws prohibit persons convicted of Certain statutorily-defined crimes from obtaining employment with certain employers, mostly those employers specializing in the care of vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, and those with mental disabilities.
