Many of our positions require an acceptable Division of Motor Vehicles record. In a continuing effort to ensure safety of our consumers and to protect RBHA's interests, the Driver Safety Procedures, Drivers Qualification Policy was enacted by Executive order and implemented on 10/15/2008.

All of RBHA’s positions require background investigation, which may include reference checks, criminal history record check and/or DMV driving record check. Virginia’s barrier crime laws prohibit persons convicted of certain statutorily-defined crimes from obtaining employment with certain employers, mostly those employers specializing in the care of vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, and those with mental disabilities.
