Emergency Services provides 24 hour crisis intervention, information and referral to persons currently in the City of Richmond.

819-4100. Within minutes, a trained Crisis Clinician will be available to discuss and respond to service needs.
Assessment and scheduling of centralized intake appointments are provided for residents of the City of Richmond. Persons seeking services from outside the City of Richmond will be linked to the Crisis Intervention program or to the Community Services Board serving the locality in which they are located or they reside.
Provision of clinical liaison services at all adult civil commitment hearings held at psychiatric facilities in the City of Richmond, including attendance or representation at all adult civil commitment hearings for City of Richmond residents held at psychiatric facilities outside the City of Richmond.
Persons already receiving services at RBHA may contact Crisis Intervention around-the-clock for assistance in support of WRAP Plans and Treatment Plans when the agency is closed or when they are not able to reach their RBHA service providers.
Qualified mental health professionals are on-duty
24-hours/7-days a week by telephone and by mobile outreach to assist persons seeking access to services for treatment of mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual disabilities.
Crisis Intervention staff additionally provides consultation, information and referral to behavioral healthcare partners in the City of Richmond.
